 This company is one of the world's chief insurance companies with more than 102  million customers in 60 countries and 157,000 employees all over.In 1817 A.D. several insurance companies merged so as to create AXA. It involves into operating property and casualty insurance
life insurance saving and asset management.  Paris is the main headquarter of this company and has a existence across Africa, Central and South America, Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East also.
In 2013, AXA extended in  Latin America by acquisition of  51 percent of the insurance operations of Colpatria  Seguros in Colombia.  AXA became the largest international insurer operating in China after 50 percent  acquisition of Tian Ping (a Chinese assets and sufferer insurer) same year. Along with, the company gained the non-life insurance operations of HSBC in Mexico. The AXA Group revealed consolidated gross income of 91 billion euro for the year 2013.
